1. Choose two of the characters in this book and write a short description of each of them. Provide as much detail as possible about their physical characteristics, relationships, and personalities. Ask your Blogger Buddy who their favorite characters are?
My favorite characters are: Winnie- she is very spontainious, brave and very she is snobby at times but other tan that she is ok.
My last favorite character is: Jesse- he is nice, helpful and very quiet sometimes he hardly ever talks in the book. HE IS ALSO SO FINE IN THE MOVIE BOOK!!
2. Describe the woods next to the cottage. The woods next to the cottage sound very peaceful and quiet.
3. What amazing fact about the Tucks is revealed? What do you think about it? Ask your Blogger Buddy what they think too. The Tucks can live forever.I know it isnt true but it is a really cool fact.
4. Have you ever felt like running away like Winnie? Why or why not?. Yes because my parents made me mad and i got amd at them back.
5. Tell about a time when you were told a fantastic story that was supposed to be true, and you were not sure whether or not to believe it.My mom told me a story about my great uncle he locked th doors in his house so his son could not get in to eat lunch so my uncle left a lard sandwich out on the step for his son the eat. SAD Ask your Blogger Buddy to tell about a time this may have happened to them.
6. How was the home lifestyle of the Tucks different from that of the Fosters? The Fosters are so clean and the Tucks are so dirty. NO OFFENSE
7. Find a simile, a metaphor, and a personification in your reading. Remember a simile compares things to one another by using the word “as” or “like”. A metaphor compares two different things, but it does not use “as” or “like”. A personification is giving an animal or object a human characteristic. Please note what page you found your type of figurative language and type out the entire sentence that you find it in. I am writing a simile from the book it is "But i'd like to talk to you first" said the man.
8. Start an on-going conversation with your blogger buddy about the advantages to living forever and the disadvantage to living forever. Tell them what you are thinking after reading this much of the book and they will tell you how they are feeling about it as well. Ask them WHY they feel it is an advantage or disadvantage.
